The axle nut can be a paint to remove. Here's a trick that's worked for me. Slip a long metal bar over your ratchet or breaker bar when removing the axle nut. The weight from the bar and the extra leverage will allow you to put your own weight in removing the nut. Some hydraulic jacks come with removable handle bars so this works great.

hi im doing a motor swap on my 98 acura integra gsr, the car was sitting for about a year prior to this swap and the axles have rusted, the 32mm bolt /spindle have rusted on to the rotors, this is my first actual motor swap/ axle swap. can you direct me to the right direction, i will apply the steps you have mentioned above, but removing the axle is a huge problem do the extensive amount of rust on the car. thank you very much for the help you can provide.
