my push button dosent work at all.. all this time i use my key manually.. can you help?

I have an 03 Honda Civic tyre-r, since I bought it the green key light was coming on & timing out fine, recently it has stopped lighting up all together but the car works fine as usual, the red security system light operates as meant to & I don’t think the LED itself has gone as it came on once a bit back but now it’s off completely.
Does anyone know what the problem is or had anyone had this happen to them before, as Im stuck for an answer nobody seems to have heard of this fault before or what it could lead to!!!
Any help would be much appreciated.

I have tested the # 2 terminal or red wire for continuity to the ECM and there was nothing on any of the wires on the ECM but the #3 terminal or blue wire tested positive for continuity on a couple of them on the ECM. Why is this? Do I need to replace the red wire?

Sounds like an error code. You may get an answer over at Honda-tech.com, if not then give your local dealership a call. They usually provide some good info over the phone.

what does this means? numbers of keys 1, ecm and pcm not registering 50-12

But I’d have to say if your going to get the keyword reprogrammed then at least have the dealership do it. Good luck.

i had the computer changed and now the check engine light, the oil , and the battery light came on i also hear the fuel pump when i turn the ignition. but the only thing is that the key light is still blinking do i have the get the key program to the new computer and will it start then?

Have you tried resetting the ECU and see if it does anything? Sometimes I’ll call the local dealership and talk to the service department if I can’t figure out. They usually provide some good info.

i’m gettin frustrated now because i had a locksmith changed the immobilizer and reprogram the key but the light still blinking he say it may be the engine computer because it ain reading the key

Hard to say unless it got inside the control unit. I’d have to say get the key reprogrammed first and see if you can start your car. If so then the control unit is fine. Usually the control unit is sealed pretty tight.
