You usually don't have to be super precise with these kinds of bolts unless your rebuilding an engine. Have you tried adjusting the idle speed by playing with the adjuster located behind the intake plenum? That piece is connected to the throttle cable. I need to know the torque spec for the nut or bolt that makes that connection on the fuel line. Not having that screw there makes the engine idle speed drop below 800rpm and makes the engine shudder at idle . It wasnt the fuel. It was the ignition coil inside the distributor. Runs fine now. Now having problems with it taking forever to crank. I think the ignition switch is bad. I fixed the problem. Could be that you need to replace the cap and rotor. Also if you haven't changed the spark plug wires and spark plugs then definitely do those too. Check the distributor.
